Tour overview
The Adventures Finder zipline course runs through a genuine tropical forest environment, with multiple platforms connected by cables of varying lengths and heights. The experience builds progressively β shorter cables at the start to build confidence, longer and faster sections as the course develops, finishing on the most exhilarating run of the series. For first-timers and experienced zipliners alike, this course delivers.
What happens on this tour
All zipline equipment β harnesses, helmets, gloves, and cables β is regularly inspected and professionally maintained. Trained guides are stationed at every platform throughout the course, providing instructions, encouragement, and ensuring correct harness use at each launch point. The safety standards are equivalent to internationally recognized adventure activity norms.
The zipline perspective on the Dominican tropical forest is unlike any you can get from the ground. Suspended between the trees on a cable, moving at speed with the canopy rushing on both sides and the Caribbean visible in the gaps β it's a visual and physical experience that is genuinely hard to describe and very easy to remember.

FAQs
Q: Is the zipline safe for people who have never done it before? A: Completely safe for beginners. A thorough safety briefing and practice session are given before you reach the first cable. Guides are at every platform throughout the course. The course is specifically designed to build confidence with smaller cables before progressing to the longer, faster sections. Q: Is there a weight limit for the zipline? A: Yes β weight limits apply for harness safety. Minimum weight is typically around 20kg and maximum around 100-110kg, depending on the specific harness system used. Exact limits are confirmed at booking. Participants outside the weight range cannot participate for safety reasons. Q: How long does the full zipline course take? A: The full course typically takes 1.5 to 2 hours from the first platform to the final cable, plus a short briefing at the start. Total time including hotel transfer is approximately 3 hours. Pace depends on group size and confidence level at each platform. Q: Can I bring my phone or camera on the zipline? A: Phones and cameras should be securely fastened or left with your guide on the platform. Many operators have mounts available for GoPro-style action cameras on your helmet. Dropping a device from a zipline cable is both dangerous for people below and a permanent loss β secure everything before launching.
